Laptop Wraps are units of work especially written for the new laptop learning devices. The wraps are easily found at the TaLe site
The wraps are units of work designed to be done independently by student using their laptops BUT they can also be easily used on the computer by anyone. These wraps or resources are where a lot of DER money has been spent and they are worth a look.
If you have not been to TaLe then you need to set aside some time to explore, as it has changed a lot since it first began.
You can use the search function and then save your results so they are handy the next time. There is also a function to update you when new resources become available.
If you like the format of the wraps CLI has an online course for making your own. To access ( no charge) you go to: Tale and it is one of the focus items at present or go to CLI which will bring up the sign on page. There is new teacher accreditation for this online course.
I will be attempting one and if anyone else would like to have a go I'll be in F10 after school Wednesday having a go. I see laptop wraps as the new energised powerpoint class weapon against ignorance and indifference. With the interactive board in the Library a wrap would work well with any class.
